Pressure die casting is the process of injecting molten metal into a mold cavity under high-pressure circumstances. The process is similar to injection molding and is a guaranteed method of making average to substantial volumes of metal parts.
Xin Pin supplies a great variety of high-grade die casting services for small batch production and a big volume of metal parts with excellent surface and tight tolerance parts. We can use our die casting services to reduce the cost per unit part to accommodate budgetary limitations which is the cost-effective solution to high volumes of metal parts production.
|Minimum Order Quantity
|tool steel P20, carbon steel S50C, aluminum
|rapid tooling, production mold
|3-5 years and we will do the maintenance every 3 month.
|Building Mold Time
|2-3 weeks (rapid tool), 4-5 weeks (production tool)
|DFM analysis, moldflow, CAE, control plan, PSW inspection reports included full-dimensional report, and material certifications available as required.
|We can machine the molds on the basis of the original data if any modification.
|Unit price is based on the quantity, normally it will add an open the mold cost of about 160USD.
Suitable for mass production, with high levels of accuracy
Cost-effective solution for the mass production of castings
Molten metal solidifies in a matter of seconds, or even milliseconds, for faster production
Ideal for a wide range of applications
Great for highly complex and precise components
Suited to long production runs or where large volumes are needed
Close dimensional control and very smooth surface finish
Castings with thin walls, and so lighter in weight
Most pressure diecasting’s can be discreetly electroplated without any further processing
1. Rapid Tooling
The most choice for the low volume production, using the aluminum inserts with a lifetime of up to 20,000 runs, typically 1-2 weeks, can reduce lead time.
2. High-Pressure Die Casting
In which a hydraulic ram is used to inject the molten metal into the die at extremely high pressures.
3. Low-Pressure Die Casting
The metal is forced into the mold with air pressure machined in typically 3-4 weeks with a lifetime up to 100,000.
4. Gravity Permanent Mold Casting
This process is combined with a gravity-fed metal delivery system.
Our pressure dies casting process consists of 6 steps. It can be summarized as follows:
Here, the dies are cleaned and lubricated. The die halves are then closed and clamped under high pressure.
The molten metal is injected and forced into the clamped die under extremely high pressure. The molten metal is kept in the die until it solidifies.
This process is essential to allow the solidification of the metal. The cooled metal fully forms the part.
Once the metal has cooled, the ejection process begins. The solidified part is pushed out of the die.
100+ will be available. It is flexible, but we always break down the cost as the MOQs which is an economical solution for volume production.
Low pressure dies casting is similar to sand casting. Gravity is used to fill the molten metal into the mold. This process is much slower, about five minutes or more per part (less than 100 parts per day) than high pressure die casting (more than 500 parts per day), about a part every minute.
We offer casting components built from aluminum, zinc, and zamak which are subject to our customer's requirements.
We are supplying to automobile companies, textile companies, valve, and actuator companies, compressor manufacturing companies, electric and servo motor manufacturing companies, toy manufacturing companies, etc.
Yes, but please let us know before quoting or manufacturing.
For the 3D drawing, we prefer to STEP, IGS, or X_T format.
The maximum supported file size is 20MB, For larger or multiple files
